Blogetery, a Wordpress platform, has seen its entire community shut down by its host, BurstNET. Subsequent statements by BurstNET indicated that the service was suspended at the request of an unidentified law enforcement agency.

"(Blogetery) was terminated by request of law enforcement officials, due to material hosted on the server. We are limited as to the details we can provide to you, but note that this was a critical matter and the only available option to us was to immediately deactivate the server."

Kuwait is rapidly focusing on its e-governance. A very important website which contains fine details about Kuwait is E.GOV.KW. Recently they have been implementing e-commerce facilitated by K-Net, a third part e-payment gateway. A recent development in e-commerce, is the website of Ministry of Communication which was not functional from last three or four years. Although, Kuwait have high rates of internet users but still they are far behind from other gulf progressing countries as UAE, KSA & Qatar. Few are the list of Kuwait's official websites.

Interesting & funny video about Google buzz, you have to watch it folks.

Kuwait Windows Users of Windows 7 RC & holder of non-genuine have been getting warnings for the past few weeks to upgrade their operating system due to the release candidate version expiring. Microsoft also blocked several illegal patches which made Window 7 genuine. The final date has now hit and if you are running Windows 7 RC then you are probably seeing your computer reboot every 2 hours leaving all open documents unsaved and perhaps being quite annoying at the same time.

If you feel you can live with the bi-hourly shut downs then go ahead and carry on using it although on June 1, the wallpaper will also be changed to say “this copy of Windows is not genuine”. At this point you will be unable to download updates as Windows Update doesn’t function with non genuine copies of the software.

Hello there.
